Growing up in Louisiana I struggled to connect with the local art. In my matured years nostalgic thoughts creep in. It is here, what Louisiana means to me takes shape. Sweet blackberry bushes enveloped the backyard where the neighborhood fox would hide out and eat. Rendering the painting through acrylic paint, each layer brought the memories back to life.
